Thanks for Letting Me Be Useful

O Lord, I want to thank you for fulfilling a desire of my heart. You know that I have a heart to help people. You know that one of my greatest joys is to offer help to others that enhances their quality of life. Today, Lord, You permitted me to be used to enhance the quality of life of someone. The words of your Scripture spoken from my mouth were the catalyst for the person’s help. I feel that I was useful in helping someone grow. It could have been only You working. Lord, permit me to continue to be useful in Your kingdom. Let me be an instrument that is pleasing to You. Let my willingness increase while I grow in wisdom and knowledge. Let me, please, have a humble spirit because I know that I am feeble and wretched. Only You can sustain me. Thank You, dear Lord, as I continue to want to do Your will. Let me recognize any impediment that is hindering my growth in You so that I can work on removing it. Praise You, Lord.
